44. Contribution for the Tabernacle (Exodus 35: 5 - 10)

Since God has created everything and owns everything, we may wonder why God would need the people of Israel to contribute to make those crafts for His dwelling place, the tabernacle? Or, as for us who are saved by grace, why do we still need to give offerings to God, such as tithing? To be saved by grace means that all of our debts for sins were paid off by the sacrifice of Christ Jesus. So, why should we still need to give to God? If we do then what do we get? If we didn't then what would happen to us?
